Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital (TRRH)
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is the largest health facility in NSW outside the Sydney-Wollongong-Newcastle metropolitan areas. It currently employs both full-time and part-time staff, many volunteers and serves most of northwest New South Wales as well as the local community. Specialist medical staff provides a full range of medical, diagnostic and surgical services.
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital has a 24-hour emergency department, high level surgical and medical services, including a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory, intensive care, coronary care, rehabilitation services (including brain injury), Diabetes Centre, mental health unit, renal services, paediatrics, maternity, oncology, radiology and pathology.
