Kelly Foran Invited to Speak at Tasmanian Health Service Event

Kelly Foran, the inspirational founder of the Friendly Faces Helping Hands Foundation, has been invited to speak at an upcoming event hosted by the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) as part of Patient Safety Month. The invitation comes from Larrissa, a Medication Safety Officer at THS, who previously attended one of Kelly's impactful presentations. 

Larrissa, who recently started her dream job, reached out to Kelly, expressing her admiration for Kelly's advocacy work and the profound impact her story has had on healthcare professionals. "The feedback from the pharmacy staff was amazing and it genuinely changes how clinicians practice to keep the patient perspective as a top priority," Larissa shared. 

The THS event aims to provide its staff with valuable insights and inspiration from Kelly's journey of resilience and hope. Larissa emphasised that having Kelly as a guest speaker would be an incredible opportunity for their team.
