Kelly Foran to Speak at National Rural & Remote Healthcare Conference 2026
Friendly Faces Helping Hands Foundation is proud to announce that CEO and founder Kelly Foran will be attending and speaking at the National Rural & Remote Healthcare Conference 2026 in Sydney this August.
The conference brings together healthcare leaders, clinicians, policymakers and community organisations from across Australia to discuss improving healthcare access and outcomes for rural and remote communities.
Kelly has become a respected voice for rural patients and families through her lived experience and the ongoing work of the Friendly Faces Helping Hands Foundation. From navigating complex medical journeys across multiple hospitals and health systems to building a statewide support network for country families, Kelly continues to advocate strongly for better support, information and healthcare accessibility for rural Australians.
As an inspirational keynote speaker, Kelly has delivered hundreds of presentations across Australia, sharing powerful insights into resilience, trauma, mental health, community support and navigating healthcare challenges in regional areas.
The conference theme, Designing Care For Distance, aligns closely with the Foundation’s mission of helping rural and remote families access vital health services, accommodation, support networks and practical information during difficult times.
Friendly Faces Helping Hands Foundation continues to support regional communities by connecting country people with city health services and resources, helping ease the stress and uncertainty often faced during medical crises.
We look forward to Kelly representing rural communities and sharing the Friendly Faces Helping Hands story with healthcare professionals and organisations from across the country.
