Access Sydney Community Transport - Free hop on hop off shuttle buses Sydney

The City of Sydney Council funds the FREE Village to Village Shuttle Services which are provided by Access Sydney Community Transport. The Village to Village bus is a free hop-on, hop-off service which enables residents of the City of Sydney to access local businesses, hospitals, shopping centres, restaurants and universities.

This service was developed to help residents who were unable to use our other funded services because they did not fit the criteria. There are currently 4 different routes that operate every week on a Thursday and Friday only.

Anyone can use this service but we do recommend that if you have serious mobility issues that you enquire about our other services. Download the timetables HERE

Green Shuttle: The Redfern to Broadway shuttle service started in February 2007 and enables residents of Redfern, Waterloo and Glebe to access local amenities such as RPA Hospital, Glebe Library, the Fish Markets and Broadway shopping centre.

Purple Shuttle: The Woolloomooloo to Redfern service started in February 2008 and links residents of Woolloomooloo, Potts Point, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Redfern to local services including Potts Point shops, Kings Cross Station, St Vincent’s Hospital, Paddy’s Markets, Central Station, Surry Hills shops and Redfern. It also connects to the Redfern to Glebe service.

Orange Shuttle: The Redfern to Broadway service aims to connect residents from Green Square, Alexandria, Erskineville and Newtown. This service started in July 2013. Destinations of interest include: Green Square Library, Green Square Station, Erskineville Station and shops, RPA Hospital, Victoria Park Pool, Seymour Centre, Broadway Shopping Centre and Sydney Fish Market.

Blue Shuttle The Broadway to Paddy’s Market via Millers Point service started in September 2013 and is for residents living in Ultimo, Pyrmont, Millers Point, The Rocks and Surry Hills. This enables local residents to access amenities such as: Sydney Hospital, Broadway Shopping Centre, Ultimo Community Centre, Ian Thorpe Pool and Paddy’s Market.
