QCH Volunteers

Children’s Hospital Foundation volunteers make visiting the Queensland Children’s Hospital a less daunting and stressful experience for families by offering support and assistance when it’s needed most. Our volunteer way finders have a unique talent for helping and directing families to where they need to go – they conduct more than 50,000 way finding sessions a year.

During a child’s recovery, Children’s Hospital Foundation volunteers bring joy and happiness to children through our book bunker, pet therapy and bedside play program. We’re also there in happy moments, when our kids recover from their illness or injury, by and our volunteers deliver toys, read stories, run craft activities and much more.
