Social Work Service Taree

Hospital social workers help patients meet all of these needs by providing training, resources, and other support. In other words, a hospital social worker helps patients and their families navigate the process of illness and injury, from hospitalization to recovery.

Social workers provide advice, support and resources to individuals and families to help them solve their problems. Social workers work with specific groups of clients, including children, the elderly and families in crisis, and help them to solve the problems they're facing.

No referral required. Just ask the ward staff if you want to see a Social Worker.
