Volunteers RMH

Our dedicated volunteers complement the treatment of healthcare professionals by providing warmth and friendship to patients, and their family and friends.

Volunteers provide directions, assist with wheelchair requests and escort patients to clinics and other hospital departments. These invaluable services are provided by caring people who give their time and talents to make a special contribution to your comfort and care in the hospital.

We have approximately 500 volunteers working across the Royal Melbourne Hospital Volunteer Service City and Royal Park campuses.
