Uncle Bob's Yallawah Place

Uncle Bob's Yallarwah Place offers a place for relatives of indigenous patients to stat while their family member is receiving treatment at JHH.

"Yallarwah" means 'resting place' in Awabakal language.

The Yallarwah Bush Walk is a short, peaceful walking trail behind the accommodation facilities. The stone edged track is located in the bushland adjacent to Uncle Bob's Yallarwah Place. Upgraded in 2014 in partnership with the Health and Medical Research Institute, the walk is intended to provide a place for quiet contemplation for anyone associated with the hospital.
