Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH)

Royal North Shore Hospital is a principle referral centre as well as a major trauma centre with 714 beds.

The statewide services provided by RNSH are severe burn injury, spinal cord injury, neonatal intensive care and interventional neuroradiology.

The Information Desk is located in RNSH main building foyer. The information desk is open every day and can assist with hospital information and to locate other services in the community eg Taxis.

Opening Hours

Visiting hours 10am - 1pm and 3pm - 8pm.

Please note, all wards have a rest period between 1pm and 3pm daily. Visiting is not permitted at this time in the majority of wards.

Strict visiting conditions are not enforced in Paediatric Wards - parents are welcome any time.

ATMs are located at the rear of the hopsital foyer, ask for directions at the Information Desk. 

Further banking services (Commonwealth, St George and ANZ ) are located on the Pacific Highway, St Leonards, a short walk from RNSH.
