The Maitland Hospital
The Maitland Hospital is a health facility for the Upper and Lower Hunter regions and serves the cities and towns of Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Singleton, Muswellbrook, Dungog and Raymond Terrace. Maitland Hospital is the one of the largest facilities in the Hunter Valley offering medical support. Services available include rehabilitation, surgical, mental health, dental, renal, maternity and child services, and coronary care/high dependency unit. They also have a 24-hour emergency department.

Opening Hours
Emergency Department open 24 hours.
Visiting hours are between 8am – 8pm, with a rest period between 1pm – 3pm. During the rest period, staff will return patients to their beds, close blinds and quieten the ward. We ask that relatives and visitors respect this period by vacating the ward or remaining quiet so that patients can sleep or rest if needed.
ATMs
There is an ATM on Level 2. From the main entrance, walk through the main foyer towards the Directory board and the ATM is on your right opposite the toilets. The vending machines are next to the ATM.
