Paramatta Park

Paramatta Park is160 years old (as a People's Park), this is a great place to picnic, celebrate family milestones, get active, explore our history or attend one of the many events and festivals.

Parramatta Park is the perfect place to gather with family and friends for a picnic. With plenty of green open space, you can choose a pretty spot anywhere in the Park to lay down your picnic rug. We also have two playground areas to keep the children entertained.

It is a great place to visit for some fresh air and short exercise. You could take a short walk or perhaps a ride around our 3.2km loop.

Domain Creek Playground is located in the middle of this section of Parramatta Park - along the eastern perimeter near the bush. Lots of padding on the ground making it very safe for children. It's quite creative too! Plenty of space between each piece of equipment. There's a large sand pit here too. Seating, toilets and shade is located near the playground.
