Awabakal Aboriginal Medical Service

Awabakal's Medical Service is an Aboriginal community-controlled health service, which aims to deliver culturally-appropriate primary health care services, advocacy and social and emotional support to Aboriginal people and their families in our community.

Our services include the treatment of acute illnesses, emergency care, management of chronic conditions, crisis intervention and referral, quitting tobacco support as well as a range of community programs and activities.

We also offer a transport service. All of our clinics are wheelchair accessible.

Awabakal Medical Service bulk bills as long as you have a valid Medicare card.

Awabakal Medical Service is open Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm.

You can obtain an appointment by phoning reception on 1300 174 908. For your convenience, Awabakal offers both male and female doctors.

We use an appointment system and we also have some appointments that can be booked on the day. The appointments fill up quickly, so please ring early.
