RNSH Volunteer Service

There are more than 60 different volunteer programs that operate at RNSH and Ryde Hospitals. Below are some examples of the volunteer services available:

* Pink Ladies organise trolley services, market dyas, cake stalls and manage the gift shop.

* The Corner Shop volunteers manage the Gift Shop 365 days per year.

* Meal assist volunteers on the Spinal, Aged Care, Neurology and Neurosurgery Wards assist patients at meal times.

* Ward Companion volunteers provide support to patients on the Aged Care and Spinal Cord Wards, as well as in the Acute Assessment Unit and the Transit Lounge. 

* Meet and Greet volunteers are located at the entrances of each hospital and can assist with directions or visitor enquiries.
