RPAH Parking and Transport

PARKING - Paid hospital parking, including concession rate parking is available behind the King George V Building opposite the main hospital,

* the Women and Babies entrance on John Hopkins Drive,

* Brodie Street off Missenden Road and

* at the Gloucester Drive entrance.

There are Council operated parking metres in the surrounding streets. Compliance is recommended to avoid infringement notices.

The RPAH sells weekly parking tickets at a cost of $20 which can be used in hospital operated car park (King George V) and depend on availability of car spaces.

TAXI - A taxi rank is located opposite the hospital on Salisbury Road (between the Chris O'Brien Lighthouse and King George V Buildings).

TRAIN - The nearest station is Newtown Station -  is a 15 minute walk from the hospital along King Street..

            - Macdonaldtown Station is a 15 minute walk from the hospital

            - Redfern Station is a 30 minute walk from the hospital.

BUS -  Number 412 from Sydney Town Hall to Belmore Station passes the hospital and operates regularly.
